Dear Friends: It has been an eventful past several weeks in Haiti. We have had many obstacles placed in front of us yet God has continued to prove that He is in control, bringing us through them all. Pastor Dicksent’s heart surgery saved his life and a follow-up visit to his doctor last week showed that he is in good health and fully recovered. The surgery has enabled him to continue to take care of the kids at Helping For Christ Victory Center. The fact that he is there with our kids means they have a much better chance of survival....

Dear Friends, These past couple of months have been filled with both good news and some major challenges for our people at the Helping for Christ Victory Center in Port Au Prince, Haiti. We now have 77 kids living at the Center and we continue to hold weekly church services and medical clinics for people in the neighborhood, using this as an opportunity to spread the gospel. This past month has been another month of advances and a couple of smaller setbacks for our team in Haiti. The Helping for Christ orphanage is now known as the Helping for Christ Victory Center and is reaching out to the local community to spread the gospel by holding weekly church services at the center. We plan to continue to reach out to the local community near the center, sharing the good news of the gospel to all who will hear.
