Dye pa lom.
God is not man. meaning, Don’t expect fate to be as you would have done things.
I love the simplicity if this proverb. All the thoughts and dreams I have in my head for the center and the HGH kids are mine, not God’s. I see things through the eyes of one who is imperfect. Our water tank finally being functional I thought God would surely bring rain that very night. Or maybe the next day. Perhaps the day after that. Yet the tank stands empty. We still have the goal of moving Ezekiel and Ednel to an orphanage that can meet their medical needs and connect them with a loving family in the states. But there is no sign of this happening anytime soon. These unaccomplished goals weigh on me from time to time so I was happy to come across this proverb. God is not man. It reminds me that He sees what I cannot see and knows things I could never comprehend. His plan is greater than anything I can imagine. So I shall keep in mind along with my hopes for HGH, Not my will but Yours be done.
Yes, we all need to be reminded that God has bigger plan. Trust in the Lord with all your Heart and lean not upon your own understanding.
