“Chak pen gen founo li e fwomaj li.”
Translation: “Every bread has its oven as well as its cheese…meaning: everyone has trials and joys, and every trial has its joy.”
This definitely rings true after our ordeal with Ezekiel. That was a trial that I personally felt we wouldn’t see the end of for a long time. But God had his plan. Since enduring those 15 days of hospitalization, being poked with needles, waiting for test results, and being away from his family at the center, Ezekiel has a happiness that you have to see to believe. Ezekiel and those of us who watched him suffer had to endure this trial so that joy could be found for this little boy.
